Carol convinces herself it’s not the real Mar-vell but then:

Puppy dog eyes and it works.

I was looking at this Alex Ross: Unseen artbook review and then these pages popped up. Basically the idea was Carol with nega-bands just like Mar-Vell had but instead of swapping places with people and she would summon other Captain Marvels from different universes. He added a female version of Drax and Adam (who I guess they’re from other universes?) and a character named Captain Z with his own group of Captains. Hopefully better images appear once the artbook comes out.

This and his Fantastic Four pitch are definitely ideas I would love for Marvel to let him explore at some point (They don’t have to be 616 Marvel stories either, kind of like how DC let him do Justice and that was its own thing).

Alex Ross posted this image on his twitter, it was part of a story idea that he had where Carol would use the nega-bands to summon Captain Marvels from other universes. Here we have Monica and Carol and two other female characters called Destroyer and Her (who are either Moondragon or Ayesha/Godess or female versions of Drax and Adam?).

so beautiful and very cute suit for carol danvers

and yeah, they are female versions of Drax and Adam
